The group had their own trail leaders so we had no issues with trail finding while part of that group, however I believe that without that, some of the way finding could have been a challenge at some critical points (like from the top of the Wildcat mountain where I did not see trail signs). We were there for a couple of days with a group of 100 or so full size 4x4s. TRO (one of their signature trails) was a 1-2 for the first 50%, a 4 at the creek crossing, and then goes ballistic to 5 at the end. Wish their 3s were more comparable to other offroad parks and wish they had more of them. The 4s and 5s are pretty insane - only for dedicated crawlers or rigs that have serious modifications/high lifts. Compared with other offroad parks I've been to - their scale tends to under-rate the degree of difficulty. I'm talking 1.5'-2' ledges you'd have to crawl up (which was pretty much impossible given the rain on the day we were there, but even without the rain clearance would have been an issue). There were some 3s that we couldn't even begin to tackle (and this ain't my first rodeo). Trails were decently marked (though not perfect).Ĭons: The degree of difficulty between 2 and 3 jumps significantly. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. Have air compressors and gift shop onsite. Several creeks cross the property which are fun to cross. Good diversity of trails, challenges, views. The 3s were surprisingly challenging in spots. The 1s and 2s were easy (though the 1s are definitely above just a graded dirt road). I have a Rubicon LJ with a 4" lift, 33" tires and lockers. Pros: Beautiful terrain, great facilities, helpful staff.
